Zion Roofing was founded in Gatineau on June 5, 2007 by Roland Langlois, a professional roofer with many years of experience in roofing installation.
Initially, Mr. Langlois took care of virtually all aspects of the business; estimating, sales, administration and installation were part of his daily tasks.
He quickly hired three employees to undertake the roofing installations. The employees, who previously had no training or experience in the field, learned the trade directly from the company’s founder. Roland gave them comprehensive training on installation techniques, materials used, as well as site safety. It was a good start for the roofing company.
Subsequently, an estimator was hired to meet potential clients, produce quotes for roofing jobs, and have some new contracts signed. A little later, the president decided to hire an administrative assistant to take care of the office tasks directly related to the contracts and provide customer service. The roofing company began to grow.
A roofing foreman then joined the team to lead the work on the jobsites. Recently, a production and quality control supervisor was added to coordinate the various construction sites, the labor, and ensure the respect of the company’s quality standards are maintained.
Committed to doing the job well and providing quality customer service, the roofing company has seen growth in the number of contracts, and its reputation has established itself in the roofing industry over the years.
