Aluminum Roofing:
Aluminum is the lightest roofing material on the market, but don’t let that fool you. Aluminum roofing is still very durable. The strength-to-weight ratio is actually higher for aluminum than for other types of metals roofing. This means that you get the same strength or more without having to use a heavy material that is more difficult to work with during installation.
Copper Roofing:
This is a great choice for any atmosphere. It is a very durable natural material that does not corrode. There is no need for maintenance. It is the simplest choice. Copper can be installed to retain its natural colour or go green.
Zinc Roofing:
Zinc roofing is similar to copper. It has a beautiful appearance that patina and changes colour over time. Most zinc roofing panels used today are actually pre-patinated, or have not yet developed their protective layer that changes the appearance of the zinc.
Steel Roofing:
Steel is an alloy, made from iron and other elements. Steel roofing has been commonly used on commercial buildings for years, but is now gaining popularity for residential homes due to its affordability, longevity and low maintenance.
